Our cabin crew are onboard to ensure that our customers’ safety and comfort come first and that they create a memorable experience by providing friendly, enthusiastic, courteous and fun service at all times. The job is busy and can be physically demanding. Cabin crew have to be prepared to work on any day of the year, at any time of the day.
Don’t worry if you don’t fit the traditional cabin crew stereotype or if you don’t have any cabin crew experience. easyJet is different from many traditional airlines. We are looking for real people with real personalities to make a real difference. That’s not to say that getting a job as easyJet cabin crew is easy. It isn’t – we have very high standards and you’ll need to prove to us that you are capable of taking responsibility for the safety and welfare of an aircraft and up to 156 passengers on up to six flights a day.

We have now met the majority of our recruitment needs for summer 07 and are currently reviewing our requirements for the rest of the year. These requirements are highly changeable and may develop at short notice so we do invite you to apply and will keep you informed of opportunities as they arise at the base of your choice. We will hold your application on file for a maximum of six months.
Limited Direct Entry Senior opportunities do still exist for our bases at LGW and LTN only.
In order to be considered to work from any of our bases under UK AOC it is a requirement that you are fluent in the native language (this will be tested) and have the right to live and work in that country and the UK. This also applies to current crew who wish to transfer bases internally. Applicants for Geneva and Basel need the right to work in Switzerland only.

Contract
easyJet cabin crew are employed on a permanent contract, subject to a six month probationary period. (Probationary period for Geneva and Basel is 3 (three) months). Contracts are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, a medical assessment and passing the New Entrant Training Course.
Salary
A cabin crew member's salary is comprised of a number of different elements:
Basic pay is the fixed non-flight related element of the salary
Sector pay is payable for each sector, or flight, that is flown as cabin crew. The amount payable is dependent on the crew member's rank and also the length of the sector. Cabin Crew based in Madrid will receive daily flight duty pay. The amount of which will depend on whether it is a domestic or international flight
Overnight allowance is payable if, for operational reasons, you are required to spend a night away from base in a hotel provided by the company. (Cabin Crew based in Madrid must claim for expenses incurred whilst away from base – maximum 30 Euros)
Uniform allowance Cabin crew are required to pay for their initial uniform, the cost of which is deducted in instalments directly from their salary. At the same time, cabin crew are also paid a monthly uniform allowance, with which they can purchase uniform replacement items when necessary (for Basel and Geneva this allowance is payable after 6 (six) months).
Language payments Cabin crew who speak a language of a country to which we fly to a fluent level, will receive a language payment. The amount received is dependent upon the number of languages spoken (not applicable to Basel and Geneva).
Commission Cabin crew are entitled to receive commission on all items that they sell from the easyKiosk
Please note that all ORLY based crew, who are habitually resident in France, are liable for French Social Security payments.
Benefits
easyJet also offers cabin crew the following benefits:
Staff travel Unlimited staff travel on the entire easyJet network is available for cabin crew and one nominated companion after three months service
Pension easyJet will pay 5% of a cabin crew members annual basic salary into a fully portable pension scheme. (Not applicable to Crew based in Madrid)
Holiday entitlement The cabin crew contractual leave entitlement is for 132 days off per year. The entitlement consists of 96 legal days off + 8 weekends which = 104 days, 20 Annual Leave Days and 8 public holidays. A cabin crew member is entitled to book 20 days annual leave + 8 public holidays which = 28 days. For ease of booking on the 6/3 pattern the number will be rounded up to 30 days to facilitate the booking of 5 blocks of leave (5x6 = 30 days). (Please note that holiday entitlement for Geneva, Basel, and Madrid differs slightly, more details will be given on your assessment day.)
Life insurance A life insurance policy covers easyJet employees for death in service; in which case a payment of twice annual basic salary is made to a previously nominated beneficiary (not applicable to Basel and Geneva).
